The Associated Student Union (ASU) is the vibrant hub of student life and representation at Los Angeles Valley College. Committed to enhancing the collegiate experience, ASU serves as the primary liaison between the student body and the college administration.
The Associated Student Union (ASU) is a student run organization that represents the interests of students at Los Angeles Valley College. It is comprised of two branches: The Executive Council (a board of student elected and appointed positions), and the Inter-Club Council (a board of representatives from all the clubs on campus).
ASU members find a myriad of opportunities for involvement, advocacy, and leadership development. From organizing engaging events and activities to addressing student concerns and fostering a sense of community, ASU strives to enrich the academic journey of every student.
The ASU provides various resources and services to support student success, including academic counseling, cultural and recreational events, and opportunities for community service and volunteerism. Through its diverse array of clubs and organizations, the ASU encourages students to explore their interests, connect with like-minded peers, and make a positive impact on campus and beyond.
